Did you catch my annotations of Letitia Baldriges’s guide to manners in the 1990s?
In my absence my scholarly treatment of this classic was faithfully read by Kevin Cole on The Last Hurrah! (The chapter on bisexuality was a doozy!)
What’s in store for April? Stay tuned!
What a joy to perform as ‘Merle’ on the 2019 edition of The Last Hurrah’s Missed Connections episode! Hosted by Kevin Cole & starring IO Duarte.
Last night, Merle the Lonely and Horny Spirit appeared and put to rest the mysterious circumstances of his death that lingered in the air after his conjuring in 2017!

CALL TO ACTION: National UBU ROI Bake-Off
PRESIDENT’S DAY: Monday, February 19, 2018
Paula Vogel sounded the call,…5 theatre artists and 1 sculptor in Frederick, Maryland answered!
We modified Vogel’s rules for a collaborative playwriting “bake-off” to fit our small merry band of writers: David Allerton, Kevin Cole, Amber George, Sarah Hempel Irani and Lydia Hadfield. Dramaturg David Allerton prepared and delivered background knowledge on Alfred Jarry’s Ubu Roi: its historical, social and cultural context. The party then watched Geoff Dunbar’s 20 minute animated short adaption of Ubu Roi to foment recognition, outrage and inspiration. Next? Riotous creative catharsis! Theatre professional Doug Grove arrived just in time to read the part of Chipmunk #2.
